Peanut Butter Pear Overnight Oats

Oatmeal doesn’t have to suck

Seriously, though. If warm Oatmeal grosses you out or it’s just not your jam, you should give Overnight Oats a try. Whip these up in a few minutes before going to bed and wake up to a delicious Peanut Buttery breakfast.

They stay good in the fridge for a few days, so it’s real nice to make a few and have a backup meal option when you’re in the throws of burnout .

Also, I just think Overnight Oats are such a solid choice you’ve got a big day ahead of you. Especially when throwing together a smoothie or making a whole breakfast spread just won’t do.

{ Difficulty: Level 1 }

[ Makes ~2 cups ]

Ingredients

1/2 cup Rolled or Quick Oats

3/4 cup Unsweetened Non-Dairy Milk
(I like Oat Milk)

1 tbsp Chia Seeds

1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

2 tbsp Peanut Butter

1 tsp Agave Syrup, Honey, or Maple Syrup

Pinch of Salt

1 x ripe Pear

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except Pear in a seal-able container - I like to use a 16 oz mason jar.

  2. Put lid on and let sit in refrigerator overnight (or at least 2-hours).

  3. When ready to eat, stir Oats with a spoon to make sure all ingredients are incorporated. Dice up your Pear into small pieces and pour over top of the Oats. Eat up!

Notes

  • Use whatever Peanut Butter is your favorite! I like Crunchy, Salted. If you’re not a fan of PB, use whatever nut butter that tickles your fancy.

  • Wanna bulk this recipe up even more? Try adding a sliced Banana to the mix. Nothin like Peanut Butter and Banana.

  • If you’re one to rush in the morning, dice up your Pear the night before. It may be a lil brown and get a lil mushy but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.
